Media accreditation for the G7 Summit, taking place in Cornwall from Friday 11 June to Sunday 13 June, has opened.
Please visit https://media.g7presidency.uk to complete your submission if you wish to attend. The closing date for submissions is 23:59 on Thursday 22 April (UK time).
The International Media Centre for the G7 Summit will be located at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth and will open on Thursday 10 June.
Please note that in order to guarantee a COVID-secure environment for media, there will be fewer accredited media spaces available than has been the case for previous G7 Summits.
While we do not expect to be able to offer accreditation to all media that apply for it, we will work to ensure a fair representation of different outlets to cover the Summit in-person, and provide virtual access to those unable to attend.
Media attending the Summit will be required to follow any public health regulations in place at the time, including UK-entry requirements for those traveling into the country, as well as any additional measures we may require.
The Media Centre will open on Thursday 10 June, closing at 08:00 on Monday 14 June. We will provide details of the facilities available, including technical support, to accredited media in due course.
Media can accredit individually or a whole team can be accredited under one account. We would advise that larger teams may wish to create one account so there is a single point of contact. We will assume that when a single person applies for a team of colleagues that the correct consent and authorisation has been provided for each individual’s information to be provided, including the upload documentation.
